Zapping Complete

So my machine today decided to celebrate my last zapping by having a software error! Was already round 2 with it, as yet again bladder wasn’t full enough first attempt, you would have thought by now my bladder could behave itself! Bladder completely full, all lasers lined up and good to go, and then nothing. Was asked a couple of times if I was still OK in lying still or did I need the loo, whilst they sorted it out. BUT that bit of the journey now complete! So relieved, and looking forward to drinking water when I want to drink it, and having decent food again.

  • Very well done Waidh! I can totally identify with your sense of relief that it’s over - I still remember my last session - I was so ready for it all to be over and was so worried something would happen that meant I had to come back the following day. I slowly reintroduced my foods again - tried too quickly with one and regretted it, but by 2-3 weeks I was back to eating as before, it was several months though before I could actually enjoy plain water again and actually find myself “fancying” a glass of water.

  • Thanks MarmiteFan….yep I need to go carefully with reintroducing food.

  • Hi Waidh

I remember being so relieved when my radiotherapy was done. It took a while for me to enjoy water again too!

I continued with the same food for a couple of weeks and then gradually started to reintroduce things. I felt quite fatigued for some time but was told this was very normal.
