The hospital have just rung it was one of the specialist nurses.
Results came back on 2nd, she said can't tell me what they are but the doctor has seen them and has put a plan in place and I will hear from them in a couple of days, she said if I've not heard anything or had a letter by Friday to ring them and check.
Has anyone else had this kind of communication.
Hi NJH75
My biopsy results were done by phone call by the nurses as this was what I had previously arranged. When I had my biopsy I had not yet seen the consultant and it was the nurse team that did the biopsy.
For my post op results it was the consultant who did the surgery that phoned me.
Sometimes the doctors prefer to give the results themselves as then they can answer any further questions you may have themselves. Sometimes the nurses can not give out the information as they do not necessarily have the full picture.
It sounds like you should know very soon and I hope it is good news for you.
Jane
