The bleeding and discharge have stopped this last day or two. Is this a good sign?
Hi NJH75
I had heavy bleeding one day and then it stopped. I bled after my biopsy for around 24 hours. Other than that I had no bleeding.
So the bleeding and discharge stopping doesn't mean that the reason for it has gone away unfortunately.
I know that you are worried but you are doing the right thing in getting everything thoroughly checked. I have come across ladies in this group since I have been a Community Champion and some have just had a one off bleed, some have had just a tiny amount of discharge and some have had no symptoms at all.

You are wise not to think about things until you have to.. I was in an awful state at the start of this journey and someone called 'marmite' on here advised that I take each day at a time and not to think too much about things until I knew what was happening. It stood me in good stead and I still practice that habit! Good wishes.
Hey that was me! I used to phone my CNS whenever I felt overwhelmed with anxiety, and she told me to practice focussing on what was known “that day” only, not what wasn’t known yet, and so I passed that advice on here. Glad it helped! (It’s not easy though and takes practice/repetition)
Brilliant! You really helped me out of the fog and I have adopted this process for every day now. THANK YOU.
I really need to take that on board ..great words.
