Hi all,
I had my hysterscopy where they removed a polyp and took a biopsy on the 30th December. I know that the results could be up to 6 weeks but wondered how the results get to me? Do I need to call my GP? Will someone call me? Will I get a letter? Or an appointment?
I'm approaching 37, a mum and I am feeling anxious. I feel rather Uncomfortable, hip and tailbone pain etc..
Thanks in advance ️
Hi MrsHutch24
I was asked at my biopsy how I would prefer to get my results. I agreed on having them by phone call. There was an option to go in and get them. I got my results around a week after the biopsy.
Have you got an appointment letter or anything with contact details on from when you had your biopsy? There may be a number or email address you could contact and ask. In the meantime you could also contact your GP regarding the discomfort/pain. It may be that the GP can chase things up for you. Mine was able to.
Hope its not too much longer for you. The waiting is hard.
Jane
