Hi ladies,
I am awaiting a biopsy and am having increasing pain in my hip and pelvic area. It seems to come and go and is not unbearable but it is more noticeable as the day goes on. Walking seems to make it worse. It is an achy pain that seems to radiate across the very top of my legs to my tail bone etc.. any experience of this? Wondered if anybody had has this sort of pain and it not be cancer?
I'm pretty sure heading into perimenopause. I'm spotting on at off at the moment too.
Thank you
Hi MrsHutch24
I can not remember having any particular pain with my cancer.
I had a bit of back ache about a week before my first symptom but I am pretty certain that it was work related. My only symptom was bleeding.
As the pain is increasing, I would perhaps contact your doctor- even doing an online consultation initially- am just thinking its not long till Christmas and maybe harder to get seen.
You could also give the Support Line a call in the morning and talk it through with one of the nurses.
Jane
Hi
I have had mild pelvic/lumbar pain for a long time that is like waves or period pains. I had a biopsy last week after an ultrasound that showed something on the muscle wall apparently. I'm 51 and prob in menopause. I have an MRI today for the lumbar region. I wish they would do the abdo/pelvis while I'm there!
Waiting for tests and results is pretty grim and the mind thinks of all sorts of scenarios.
