I’m 12 weeks post surgery now and over the last few weeks I’ve noticed that my lips are dry and sensitive (especially to spicy foods) and I’ve also developed some eczema on one foot (never had this before)…
I’m just wondering if it’s coincidence or maybe linked to lack of oestrogen/hormones? It’s not a big deal (I’m just quietly transforming into a withered old prune!), I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed similar?

I have had eczema in the past. I did notice that after my hysterectomy I did have a flare up. Skin on my face became very dry and irritated and also my hands. Because it happened within days of surgery I did wonder whether it was due to the hospital environment- what they wash the sheets in, the antiseptics they use and perhaps even the medications/anaesthetic. I also have had flare ups previously during stressful times so that could have been an element.
