What alerted me to my possible cancer was the increase in waist size and a protuding belly.
I actually look around 6 months pregnant and I am so bloated.
It's was on one of those days that I was looking in the mirror that I decided to lay back on my bed and see what was going on.
I did an examination and could feel this Oval enormous lump that was very mobile and could be moved from side to side. It felt smooth and a bit like a pregnancy.
Of course i was horrified
Called GP for an emergency appt and she measured it at 8cm x 8cm
Since then and getting to the US around 5 days wait , it grew to 17.5 cm in diameter !
Now I realise that's a bit unlikely so it's probably just that measurement in US was more accurate
However 14 day later it's even larger and looking like a watermelon.
Has anyone else had a bloated huge belly with theirs ?
Hi Cheekat
I didn't have a lump like you but when I had my hysteroscopy and the nurse examined my tummy, she said she could feel that my womb was enlarged. I couldn't feel it myself but had a sort of tightness feeling. After I had the hysterectomy, I immediately noticed the difference.
I hope that things can get sorted for you soon.
Jane
