Hi, I'm relatively new to my endometrial cancer diagnosis, 1a Grade 3. Surgery very soon. I just wanted to ask if anyone else experienced really extreme fatigue with their condition? Despite getting 8-9 hrs sleep a night, I feel permanently exhausted. I literally clock watch from 3pm and ready for bedtime even mid afternoon?
No, I didn’t get tired pre or post op or during radiotherapy, though I did get tired after. It could be down to stress and anxiety. Have you been given the contact details for your CNS? I found it helped talking to mine.
I don't have a CNS though been given a number for support, it's private healthcare
Hi EndoCanc, were you diagnosed through private health care or just having your hysterectomy privately? Are you in the UK?
I was diagnosed through private health care and receiving treatment through them too. I’m in the Uk, yes.
Hi EndoCanc
I found before treatment I did feel tired but I think a lot of that was all the stress and worry about what was going to happen.
During and after treatment I had a lot more fatigue and it has persisted- but got a lot better with time.
Perhaps mention to your CNS so they are aware and can offer some reassurance.
Jane.
