I have been chasing a sick note from my dr from Dec 27 th and asked 4 times for it
they said it will be backdated but I need to send to work and not sure. How many more times I need to ask the dr
anyone had these Problems with getting one
Hi mollysue
I did mine via online consultation.
I worked until the day of surgery.
The GP gave me one for initially 6 weeks to be reviewed.
I was told not to work during chemo/radiotherapy so I was given further ones. I never saw GP at all during my treatments but did it all on line. Due to needing time to recover and because of treatment side effects I am now taking time out from working so no longer need them.

Hi mollysue
I think you did right in taking time out to look after yourself. I worked up to my surgery date and looking back, it wasn't the right decision. I was distracted and very stressed about cancer, the surgery and how quick I could get back to work after it. I shouldn't have put myself through that because as it happened things took an unexpected slant and I wasn't able to return. Look after number one is my mantra now, better late than never.
A x
