Discharge following hysterectomy

I am 7 weeks post total hysterectomy and BSO today. I had bleeding (not heavy) up until the end of last week. It got fainter and fainter. If there are no other symptoms (itching, pain etc) it's most likely ok. Everyone's experience is different. But the best thing is to call your Macmillan nurse and discuss. They can advise you and ask any questions they need to.

How are you as I see your retired like me , did you get the grade after the op stay the same  .

Hello,  hope you are well.   Yes my grading was 1a stage 2,  I dont need any further treatment,  I am 11 weeks since operation and I am feeling almost normal !   I feel very lucky indeed.     How are things with you ?  X

having robotic with BSO 

how were u after op and did you go home next day ? Are you retired too like me? 

Hello again,   I am 68 and retired,  I just retired Christmas 2022 but honestly don’t know how I had time to work.    I had operation on the Wednesday keyhole surgery,  I was in surgery for 6 hours as I had lots of adhesions etc due to previous c section.    I went home in the Friday so was in for 2 nights.  The worst part for me was getting bowels working etc but after around 10 days that improved.   I still feel a bit tired but I am definitely getting there.   How have you been ?  Xx

I'm ok but get times when I worry about the stage 1a and grade 1  and it will change after op as some have  said on here  

I was told no chemo but possible mini radiation to keep it at bay possible 

I was told robotic ok today but still worried about the operation so much as it gets nearer 

  I have waited  5 weeks for my gyno  as she  said ok as she's been on holiday and I wanted her 

I saw your follow up stated the same stage as originally   s

so did you have any  any further treatment ? And are your follow ups 3 months to start ? thanks xxxx
