This community has been so helpful to me and knowing that I am not alone going through this experience has been a comfort.
I saw this article from the European Medical Journal posted in a FB group and thought i would share it with you. Although early days, it is very positive about the use of chemotherapy plus immunotherapy (it's a bit technical but you can get the gist!)
I wondered if anyone here has any experience of immunotherapy? The trial results sound very promising.
Hello WGN
I am pleased that you have found the Online Community helpful. I have found it really helps to share with others who are going through similar things.
Thank you for sharing the article above- it is always helpful to share any new developments and potential treatments. I had chemotherapy and radiotherapy last year but it is good to know that there are new treatments that may become available in the future.
Although I haven't had immunotherapy myself, I know that there are ladies on here who have had the treatment. Although immunotherapy is not suitable for everyone, this does sound a promising development, so thank you for sharing it on here.
