  • Hello  ,

I'm Eliza from the Community team at Macmillan. Here on the Community team we look after Macmillan’s Online Community and help all our members find the right support for them.

I just wanted to let you know that you may find it helpful to talk to our nurse specialists on the Support Line. Our nurse specialists won’t have access to your medical records, but they can help with questions you have about medical terms. Our nurse specialists and support team are available 7 days a week, 8am-8pm on freephone 0808 808 00 00email or live webchat. Our nurses are also available on the Online Community on our Ask a nurse page, which is open Monday - Friday.

We would also encourage you to always contact your medical team or GP if you have questions about your diagnosis.

I hope as well you will find it helpful to hear back from other members about their personal experiences. Please just keep in mind that other members can't provide medical advice and can only share their own or a loved one's experience of diagnosis and treatment.

If you have any questions about the Online Community or finding the right support for you, please feel welcome to get in touch with the Community team over email to community@macmillan.org.uk.

    Take care,

    Eliza
