I was treated for cancer of the womb by having a full hysterectomy, in 2021 luckily I caught it early and needed no other treatments.

Im going to Spain in a few weeks time, this will be the first time abroad in 4 years. I do love the sun and obviously I want to protect myself as well as enjoy my holiday. I'm am on my own, and im worried about getting suncream coverage on my back, as I love walking on the beach. Has anyone got any ideas/suggestions for me please.

  • Hi  Garnier do aerosol sprays which make it easy to cover your own back. Their kids one is about £8 at boots and factor 50. Hope you have a lovely time!

  • Hi Ladnad. I've travelled solo a lot in the past and found the Back Bliss Applicator really good for applying sun protection to your back. It's available from Amazon.

  • Hi Ladnad.

Congrats on no further treatment needed and on booking a holiday. Souns like a lovely way to celebrate.

I'd suggest the sponge on solid arm - the ones for washing your back, available from most high street pharmacies. This should get suncream to the places harder to reach.

    Have a lovely trip

  • Morning   a holiday sounds amazing i hope you have a fabulous time, as   and other have mentioned some great ideas. I use the sponge on the long pole too for showering as well a sun cream application it looks really strange but actually works pretty well.
