Hi about a week on and off, but mostly when wiping. Good girl, any excuse not to do much, it is the weekend, just chill. X. Results were back about 2 weeks, I called secretary to be told they were in but she need Dr to see them 1st. The Dr called me the next morning, I have atypical hyperplasia, pre cancerous cells. I was booked in for MRI with contrast a week later and in to see consultant a week after that. I am know booked in for Hysterectomy on 5th January. Every thing will be removed. Then another wait for histology results, fingers crossed nothing nasty will be found. X
oh wow, good luck for the 5th Jan,thats a day after my birthday, sounds like its been caught early so fingers crossed for you,iv no idea when i get results, but you know when you want to know but you dont, so thats where im at.I was told in recovery by female doctor she would bet alot of money it was not cancer ! which i thought was a silly thing to say after being told i have to wait for biopsy results. i hope you can still get to have a wonderful christmas, even though you must be worried,so thank you for taking time out to message me let us know how you get on x
Thank you, its good to talk. If you any other info please just ask. Xx
thank you, can i ask you did you have a thick uterus as they said mine was slightley over at 4.4 and should be post menapausale 4mm, and thats why they did histeroscopy,no polyop or fibrod found ,took biopsy, and also said that i had a thin atrophic endometrium ? this is all new words to me ,never even knew about it until they started to look past my prolapse ,sorry to ask lots ut i cant talk to family as dont want to worry them, have a lovely weekend x
Hi I am 9 years post menopause had some spotting. My lining is 9 thick, so they moved right onto biopsy. Not sure what atrophic endometrium is, sorry. I don't mind what questions you ask, it all help. I hope you have a great weekend too. X
Hi Deb, I’m glad you have a date! Have you seen the thread on what to pack? If not I can give you the link. I had my hysterectomy 11 months ago and did a diary from op day onwards - I could post the link to that too?
I had quite a lot of bleeding for about a week after the hysteroscopy, then it mostly stopped. My lining is very thick - 19.4mm. Waiting on appointment to discuss the MRI/CT which followed after my initial diagnosis from the biopsy.
Thank you for replying,so glad you ladies are here to answer questions,i hope all goes well for you with your appointment ;0)
