Hello ladies,
It’s now almost 2 years since I had my cancer diagnosis, and I just wanted to say hi
I also wanted to say, after a really bumpy start (surgery during Covid pandemic), post treatment depression, post-op complication of a prolapse…..I’m still standing and even smiling.
I know how hard it was to hear a cancer diagnosis ( this was my second cancer in 10 years) and how much support I needed, but life is good. This group helped me so much during the early days, I really don’t know if I’d have coped without it TBH.
So if you’ve just been diagnosed, are undergoing treatment or just struggling post treatment etc., life can be good again.
Hello! How lovely to hear such positive news and to know that you have come through a difficult time - and emerged smiling! I remember you on the forum, as I too had my surgery in December 2020 at the height of the pandemic. It was tough going to all appointments etc alone - but do-able - and I think we women are much stronger and more resilient than we think. Like you, I have emerged smiling and would like to join you in offering encouragement to others who are just starting on this journey. Take it a step at a time - things may feel overwhelming and even insurmountable at times, but you WILL come through - and you too will smile again.
