Evening all,
Hope you are all well, today is one year since I was told I have cancer and what a year it has been. There have been some ups and quite a few downs but thanks to the support of my family and friends I’m still here. I was due to have a 3 month check up ct scan on Wednesday but I couldn’t have it because of my weight (slightly embarrassing) so now waiting to see what else can be done. I want to thank all the lovely ladies on here for all the support you have all given me, you have all helped more then you could know. Hopefully when I finally get my check up it will be good news, and again thank you all for the support you have all given me you are all the best group of support anyone could ask for. X

Well done on your one-year milestone. I hope everything goes well. LR.
Wow Rach_E how a year has gone, i hope the weight issues dont cause too much delays in getting your check ups, i lost a lot of weight before my diagnosis but no i have piled it on no matter how much I exercise and i know it can be frustrating but sometimes its our metabolism and other issues like for me menopause being slammed like a freight train after my hysterectomy its crazy as i did struggle to put the weight back on no i cant get rid of it, however i do have fluid retention too due to my renal issues, but i admit it’s embarrassing but if you do everything you can then at least you can say you tried. I wonder have they given you ideas how to reduce it, i find reducing bread may help as thats a bunker, the thing is stress can cause weight gain too as my Doctor said both physically and mentally. I wish you every luck for good news.
sending gentle bear hugs
