Hi Shortly. I was prescribed Laxidol which worked for me. Had previously been on Movicol which made me feel nauseous.

Hi Shortly,
I have also struggled with constipation after chemo. I was given laxido and docusate sodium and advised to use from the day of chemo until i was able to go to the toilet normally. This is all very well but it's actually being able to pass hard lumps that's the problem, which becomes/ feels like the back passage is blocked up. I struggled with this each time until I cottoned on to suppositories. These soften the stool in the bottom and make it easier to pass. I bought glycerin suppositories from a chemist. Hope this helps,
A x
I’m constipated because of the drugs I’m on for my complex spinal issue (very unlucky as I’ll need surgery on that soon as well as a hysterectomy) I’ve always been a once a day girl. I take a couple of dulcolax before bedtime if I haven’t been for a couple of days. They generally sort me out
