I got diagnosed with Stage 1 endometrial cancer 3 weeks ago. I am seeing the surgeon /oncologist in 11 days to arrange a hysterectomy. But I’m totally exhausted all the time. Is anyone else tired all the time at an early stage of their journey? I sleep well at night but having naps in the day. Feel like I’m sleeping my life away!
Hi, it’s likely a reaction to the stress and anxiety - rollercoaster rides can be very tiring!
I’m afraid I still feel extremely tired almost 4 years after my diagnosis. It’s physical and emotional tiredness for you at this early stage so no need to feel guilty about needing rest or sleep
I'm in the same position. Recently diagnosed. Feel wiped at times. I lead very active life and wonder if tiredness is a physiological response too?? I wake usually at 4am then feel exhausted in afternoons....
I can't speculate on anyone else's situation, I don't have the medical knowledge, but months before I got a diagnosis I had started to think I had less energy. I could not run as far or as fast as usual. At that stage I did not think there was any medical problem, but I was conscious of not being at my best.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
