Hi
I had a womb biopsy two days ago on thick lining 16mm. I was told I would receive a letter with results 7/10 days.
thus morning I received a text with a gynae appointment for the 4th October. I rang the hospital to see if this was about my results and they said results will be sent out within 7 days and wouldn’t tell me anything. I’m now worried that they have sent an appointment out two days after my biopsy must been bad news.
Has anyone had similar
Hi Army
Different health trusts operate in different ways. Hard to do but best to wait until your Gynae appointment on 4th October then everything will be clearer. You might well get a letter giving results and confirming your appointment. In the meantime you might get a letter calling you in for a CT scan if the MDT think it necessary.
I so feel for you after everything you've been through in the last few months.
Sending you a great big hug, Barb xx

I received my results from womb biopsy and ca125 blood tests
blood tests normal and biopsy normal although it states a minimal sample was taken.
Ive an appointment on 4 th Oct with gynae who wants to discuss risk saving surgery options.
