Hi All, I am doing ok after my op last Monday. Over the last couple of days I have had a sensation of trickling fluid in my pelvic area, always on the left side. A slight achey pain where my left ovary would have lived but otherwise nothing else to report. I popped on a liner just in case and it’s completely dry . Its very strange. Anyone got an idea?
Your body takes a while to settle down after surgery so feeling niggles and nerve pain is perfectly normal
Hi - Did you have your lymph nodes removed by any chance? if so it could be lymph fluid you can feel.
I'm coming up to 10 weeks since my op and experienced a variety of sensations but since you mentioned the left hand side I have had what feels like something (possible fluid) rippling under the skin of my left buttock....I did have my lymph nodes removed so thought it could be that but it only ever happens on the left hand side.
I did have heavy lymph fluid discharge which started on day 11 and lasted about a week but still have the sensation that there is fluid ready to flood out but it doesn't, although I still get a slight trickle.
Hi, No lymph node removal so it remains a mystery. It stopped for a few days but returned yesterday. Its very disconcerting, i keep expecting wet trousers and there is nothing to see! Accepting a a nerve issue and hopefully it will disappear once and for all soon. x
