Hi, just over a year ago I had a full hysterectomy due to having womb cancer.
I have since had 2 check ups & due a 3rd in October.
Since the op I have noticed my bones especially my knees are getting painful & popping/crunching.
Should I have been offered some kind of HRT after the op as my joints were fine?
I’m 61 years old so not sure if that makes a difference.
Thank you for any advice.
Hi Mamaden, I was 60 when I was diagnosed with cancer, ten years after going through the menopause and I have never taken any form of HRT. I think you would be best to contact your CNS or GP who can advise you. Your joint pains could possibly be due to a Vitamin D deficiency which would show up in a blood test. Hope you get things sorted out. xx
