WYPE gel is a product I first saw on Dragons Den. The company didn’t get an offer, but have gone from strength to strength with their product. It’s a gentle gel in a metal container which dispenses a small amount onto loo roll to help the wipe be more efficient, meaning you need to wipe less. This can be especially important if you’re a bit loose or have actual diarrhoea as less wiping means less chafing on your rear end, I have a small external haemorrhoid (from pushing in childbirth) which sometimes bleeds, and also have a small anal fissure that annoyingly opens after lots of wiping and can bleed a fair bit. I bought some before my radiotherapy started, as I knew that the bowel can get a bit sensitive during treatment. I thought I’d share about it here as I imagine diarrhoea must be a fairly common issue during treatment, especially during radio, but also sometimes with chemo and brachy. I ordered one standard dispenser and a travel one. Honestly it’s been wonderful, I had no bleeding all through my radio. I have sensitive skin and found the product gentle and non-irritating. I’ve carried on using it after treatment even though my bowels are back to normal now. Here’s a pic - iPhone 12 mini there for size comparison. Mrsceedee mentioned using it the other day so she’s a fan too, and I thought I’d post here to let more people know!
Already added it to What to take in my overnight bag!
I too have used it for a while and highly recommend it. Didn't give it a thought to include it but have now.

Chrissie, I really wasn’t expecting it to be as amazing as it is!
MarmiteFan59, what a fabulous idea as someone who has experienced bowel damage since my hysterectomy i often have issues so this sounds a really great idea to reduce some problems experienced. Thank you for the suggestion.
