Hi all,
Feeling a bit off today as it is the first anniversary of my grandad passing away from pancreatic cancer. I miss him loads and often wonder what he would say to me doing my cancer treatment (knowing him a few really bad jokes lol). I have been feeling more positive about things lately but don’t feel so positive today. Sorry for going off topic and here is my favourite picture of us.

Hi Rach_E. Lovely photo, remember the bad jokes and as Christine says, smile at his memory.
My Grandad passed away over 50 years ago but I can still clearly see him in his garden with his beloved chrysanthemums. He used to present us one (my sis & I) when we stayed.
Thank you for giving me a happy memory today, big hugs to you, Barb xx

Thank you ladies, the bad joke that always sticks with me is when we used to go shopping he would say to my nan ay Joyce look at that 2 for £1 and she would always say what and he would reply 50ps. She would fall for it every time and she would always tell him to bugger off and not to laugh because it would encourage him but you couldn’t not laugh. He had a great sense of humour x
