Good morning,
Met my consultant at The Christie last Thursday and he explained the robotic hysterotomy in detail and he just wanted a few more tests but I am provisionally booked in for surgery on Monday 16th May. Pre-op booked for 10th May (yesterday)
He wanted a lung function test as you are tilted on your head during the surgery and as I have COPD he wanted to ensure my lungs could deal with the pressure of the tilting - he also wanted an additional CT scan as he has a slight concern about my lymph nodes.
I had my lung function test done Monday and went for my pre-op yesterday morning followed by CT scan in the evening so now I just have everything crossed that surgery is going to go ahead on Monday

Hi . Good to hear the lung function test went ok, you've had your pre-op assessment and you're all set for your op on Monday 16th.
I attach another link to what to take in my overnight bag in case you missed it last time.
If you've any questions in the meantime, fire away.
Sending hugs, Barb xx
