Good evening ladies, I hope you are all as well as can be expected.

following on from my last post 3 days post op, I went to see my GP about the ongoing pelvic & back pain. I had an endometrial ablation & bilateral Fallopian tube removal 13 April 2022. My GP rang Gynae for advice as no bleeding 10 days post surgery, extremely bloated & continuing pain I’d had pre-operatively, they told her she gets paid to look after her patients !!! She sent me for a pelvic & transvaginal ultrasound- urgent which I had on Monday just gone, told the sonographer that the scan 3weeks ago was ignored and not acted upon by Gynae not even during hysteroscope prior to ablation!! I have my appointment with my new trust under the 2ww on 3 May so not long. Scan results today came back:

Clear regular midline echo which is focally thickened towards the fundus (which is unusual following an ablation), endometrial polyp can not be excluded. Endometrial thickness 12.3mm. Patient is already referred under 2ww, please forward to Gynae.

last scan 3 weeks ago ? Polyp, endometrial thickness 16.6mm. That was on Wed  a week before surgery.

I still have stitches in-situ, definitely not dissolvable, no appointment to remove them. I also have a follow up post-op 31 May over the telephone!!!!!

I would appreciate if anyone could give me advice/information if you have experienced anything similar. I’m now just 14 weeks away from completing my paramedic degree… so it’s keeping my mind occupied. Im also now prescribed oromorph for the pain.

thanks for listening Aimee xx
