Hi I went for a scan on my kidneys today after a kidney infection and 4 days in hospital.

while I was there he saw on my notes that I was waiting for an internal scan of womb n ovary: he offered to do it there n then so I went ahead.

I’ve had pain in my right side since the scan is this normal?

so now to wait to hear from doctor as I don’t have an appointment yet?

im not stressed but hate waiting lol

Whar if anything should happen next?

  • Hi  I'm so sorry I missed your post, the group have been busy recently so it must have dropped to the next page.

I don't think a scan can cause pain in your side. Have you been given  CNS to contact (Clinician Nurse Specialist). Otherwise call your consultant's secretary.

There's nothing in your bio/profile so I don't know how far along you are with tests etc. When you get a moment please fill it in, it's useful to other members when they answer your posts or ask questions of their own. Click on your ID to go into your account and on the right hand side click on edit details, save after you've finished.

We all agree the endless waiting for tests, then the results are the pits. Once they look at the scan results they send you for a hysteroscopy then a CT scan, perhaps a MRI scan. You may get an appointment via letter or a phone call, they all vary.

Let us know how things progress,

    Hugs, Barb xx
