i was diagnosed with womb cancer 29th Dec 2021 after a biopsy.

  • Hi . Oh you have my sympathy being moved from pillar to post and getting no answers. When pain relief is not offered for procedures it makes me so mad! I have read Australians think the fact that hysteroscopies are routinely done, not under GA/Epidural is positively barbaric.

I have read that excessive weight causes a problem during the operation because our bodies are tilted and inflated with gas, which can cause problems with the lungs. I hope the member who wrote the post comes back and clarifys!

It might also be a good idea to download this booklet Understanding Womb (Endometrial) Cancer. I found it invaluable on my journey.

Click on the link I’ve created to find out more information covering diagnosis and treatments for Womb cancer.

You might also find this link to what to take in my overnight bag useful for when you have surgery.
