Hi all I hope it’s ok to be on here.
Long story short. 3 years ago I had my left ovary removed due to a teratoma. This was found after finding blood in my urine which wasn’t an infection. They never did find the cause of the blood as the ovary took over.
I’ve been on HRT since 2017 no problems.
4 weeks ago I spoke to menopause nurse general check up but on describing how tired I felt she sent me for blood tests. Getting results Monday.
2 weeks ago I had a heavy period which lasted 12 days. I have POCS and normally only bleed 3/4 times a year and only for 2/3 days at a time.
the nurse has booked me in for an internal examination on wed and referred me for urgent scan.
im 99% sure I’m ok but something is telling me I might not be
today I’ve had a nonstop feeling of needing to wee even straight after I have.
my husband knows but no one else
sorry to go on xx
thank you
Hi Twinmum and welcome to our spot in the Online Community. Don't worry about going on - we've all done the same worrying about what might be. You'll get a great deal of support here if your tests do prove you have endometrial cancer.
The usual tests would be Ultrasound scan, hysteroscopy and biopsy followed by CT scan/MRI scan.
You might have something as simple as a UTI if you feel you need to wee even though you've just been, hope that's the case.
Come back and let us know how your tests go.
Sending hugs, Barb xx

Thank you so much. I’m booked in for the nurse to look at my cervix on wed at the doctors and waiting on ultrasound scan within 2 weeks if that quick.
the need to wee was only yesterday and has all but gone now.
im trying not to worry as I know the chances of it being bad is low but I just feel after Gaby getting my left ovary removed to have such a heavy bleed is not right? Xx
I Myself didn't have heavy or prolonged bleeds. I was some years post menopause and noticed a pink mucous like spotting on my undies i was going to ignore. When it happened again a few days later I mentioned it to my bestie and she said I had to get it checked out. The rest is history.
Hugs, Barb xx
