Hi all,

Doctor rang with scan results, caner is stable and has shrunk a little and no new growths.  I feel slightly relieved with the results so carry on with next three treatments and then see what happens. X

  • Good news for you Rach-hopefully the next three sessions will reduce things even more XXBouquet

  • So good to hear something positive,  so onwards and upwards. Good luck with the next sessions and hope it goes completely  x

  • Hi. That's good news like I had - don't forget my chemo and scans were nearly a year after my hysterectomy so mine had plenty of time to get established but they've shrunk significantly and the lesions nearly by 50%.

So lets continue with the remaining cycles and have faith in the treatment. It'll be good to get my hair back, getting fed up with being a baldie and it's still too cold to wear my baldness with pride!

    Hugs, Barb xx

  • Thank you all, this is going to sound weird but I’m slightly disappointed it’s only shrunk a little was hoping for more.  The treatment is for two lymph nodes in the pelvis so hopefully it will be better next time.  Seems silly to be disappointed as I’m only half way through.  Probably being too hard on myself. Great to read positive news from you Rach_E :)

Don't feel dissapointed it's going down that's the important bit. Fingers crossed after next few sessions there is much more shrinkage x

  • I am glad it is going down but now have that worry of what will happen when I finish chemo.  My head is like if it is still shrinking will they carry on or will they offer something else or my biggest fear is they just say that’s it done what we can see you later. X

Oh no don't think like that. Cross each bridge as it happens but I can totally understand the worrying. Try keeping yourself occupied. If I give my head space to think then my thoughts spiral out of cntrol. You got this Thumbsup

  • I try to keep myself busy but it creeps in every now and then.  We have an 8 year old son and are meant to be getting married in October and I want to be ok for that and be able to see Haydan grow up. X
