Hi Madesp
Was thinking of you and wondering how you are doing post op etc?
Hello Marmitefan59
I'm doing OK feeling well and even the leaky fluidy discharge seems to be drying up!
I am very mobile, go for half hour walks and doing light housework ironing and cooking when I'm allowed. Lol.
Have not yet heard about results and the MDT meet on Tuesdays....so today could be my lucky (or unlucky) day. I'm anxiously awaiting to hear and praying it hasn't spread although I believe the chemotherapy will be same either way. I will post on here my results when able to.
I still reading new posts on here and find them interesting informative reads. Inc your diary!
Nice of u to think of me. Take care xx
Hi Mad, pleased to hear back from you and glad too that you’re doing well. I’m cooking but not cleaning and I’ve not ironed in over 30 years! My husband is doing the vacuuming as I remember from having my c section that it’s a no no not just from the weight but the twisting. I hope you do hear soon, your wait has been longer than mine and I feel for you. You said chemo, did you mean radio?
Definitely Chemotherapy and maybe brachytherapy too. Because mine is high grade SEROUS they may keep radiotherapy back if I ever need it in future for any possible reoccurring disease.
Bless you, I’m sorry I must have missed a post as I was unaware of the grade. I hope you hear really soon so that you know for sure what you’re facing. As it’s already been three weeks I’d suggest calling your CNS team to see if they can chase your results.
MDT meeting was today and CNS will call me tomorrow x
Fingers crossed for you for your call with your CNS, Madesp
I hope you get all the questions answered too. I am sure you have already heard this but best to jot some questions down ready for when you speak to the CNS. I am dealing with a referral to another department next week and I know I have loads of questions swirling in my head so I know how difficult it can be to know or even remember to ask. Hope everything goes ok for you.
Sending some gentle bear hugs
