Morning all
Had a call from my Oncologist yesterday and it was good news. After 3 chemotherapy sessions my tumour masses have reduced significantly and the lesions on my liver and spleen have gone down by nearly 50%. I was over the moon.
Will continue with the next 3 cycles as I'm coping ok (next this Friday) then have a short break before we discuss the route forward, whether more chemo or alternative treatments.
The wait for this news has been gut-wrenching but at least I've got a bit more hope I'll be around for longer than I thought I'd be last November. The transition to knowing I'm incurable was hard to take in but I know I can live with this little bugger on my terms! My aim now is to join the Stable Mabel group - 5 years!
Hugs to all, Barb xx
