I got my start today for chemo, Wednesday 29th December. Terrified and nervous about starting but it needs to be done, hopefully I will be fine once I get the first one done x
Good luck Rach! I will be starting that soon, so I will be very interested to hear how it goes, as I am also feeling very nervous about it. I go on the 22nd for a discussion - I’ve been told that I will also get radiotherapy too and I am not sure whether that happens first or after chemo. All a very steep learning curve isn’t it. Thank you for your reply GwenDotI had my meeting yesterday with my consultant and then on 21st I go for a pre assessment and bloods then I go for the treatment on 29th. Yes it’s a steep learning curve and you seem to get given a lot of information, luckily I have been able to take my partner with me otherwise I would forget most of what I get told.
