Hi
Five weeks post hysterectomy and experiencing spotting. I had nothing at all for 3 weeks but commencing fourth week started light bleeding. Did anyone else experience this and, if so, when did it stop. I am trying to remain calm but I think having a cancer diagnosis plays havoc with your common sense.
Best wishes to you all.

Yes u can bleed for a while after your op! But if u need reassurance phone your cns good luck on recovery xxx
Hi Shirley,
A similar thing happened to me around two weeks after surgery I had light spotting, I mentioned it to my consultant when I went for my follow up 5 weeks after surgery. He wasn't concerned and it eventually stopped around 8 weeks after my hysterectomy.
Hi Shirley, yes you're right, common sense well and truly goes out of the window.
Spotting is normal but I always think it's a good idea to give your CNS a call for reassurance.
Hugs, Barb xx
