Hi everyone not been on for a while sorry. Had my hysterectomy on 8th November had to be cut open properly but I’m not too bothered about that, surgeon said it went well and they did what they wanted to do. Went back to the women’s today to see him again and he is happy with how I am doing and I have done everything they asked and the wound is heeling well. Now I am waiting for my referral to clatterbridge for chemotherapy.
Hope you are all well
Hi there glad u are doing well! How come you have to have the chemo xxx
I have some enlarged lymph nodes in my pelvis that they aren’t sure if it’s cancer or not because they couldn’t take them out and when I had my CT scan there was a couple enlarged in my neck so they are playing it safe x
Aww ok glad your doing well after your op! Have u had your histology results yet xxx
I went for them today but didn’t want to know at the moment and the consultant was fine with. He just said he was happy with how the surgery went and he was happy for me to have the chemo if I wanted it so said yes x
Glad you are on the mend hope your chemo goes ok sending you best wishes for the future xxx
Hi Rach_E. Good to hear your recovery after surgery is going well. I'm starting chemo on Monday so my little bags packed with Soduko books, tablet, kindle, colouring books and fruit sweets.
Had hair significantly chopped off yesterday and have 4 turbans at the ready. Just want to get started1
Hugs, Barb xx

I’m not sure when I start probably soon I would imagine. I’m a bit scared of what side effects I may have and not normally bothered about my hair but I don’t want to lose it, my mum and dad have bought me a hat for my birthday on Monday incase I do lose it. I hope it goes well for you next week, I couldn’t believe it when I saw your post x
Neither could I ! LOL
