Went to the women’s hospital today and I have been approved for surgery.  I couldn’t believe it I was certain they would say no because of my weight.  Just waiting for them to set a date for me to go in.  Feel like this is a small step in the right direction but have a long way to go. X

  • Thats amazing news indeed , I know how very worried you were about your weight and it possibly stopping you from having the operation. First step all sorted, just waiting on a date which I know will seem forever but i am confident that you shouldn’t be waiting too long now. I bet you feel some weight is now lifted from your shoulders.

    Thank you for your reply  yeh I feel like a weight has been lifted and I’m terrified about having the operation but it needs to be done then from the sounds of it it will be on to chemo. X
