  • , good to hear the news no further treatment is needed, you must take that as a positive!

I've mentioned before there was no cancer in my biological family, I was the first but probably also the first not to have had children. Anyway I digress, I'm surprised how many people are struck by primary cancers, not once but twice. I didn't know there was such a thing as a primary until joining here.

Still waiting for the results of hubby's bowel cancer testing. Colonoscopy and gastroscopy revealed a gastric ulcer and hopefully by now we'd have heard if the CT scan and biopsy had shown anything up. He's more concerned about getting his hip replaced on 19/11 so don't want anything to mess that up!

    Sending hugs, Barb xx

  • Hi Barb,

They told us straight after the colonoscopy that they had found something suspicious, so I think you would know by now if anything was bad. My husband was found to have a gastric ulcer when they put a feeding tube in him 14 years ago. They put him on Omeprazole tablets for life. Funnily enough that was never mentioned when he had the gastroscopy. Everything was said to be fine, so we wonder if that's healed up? xxx

  • Hi Mrs BAH,I agree with NannyAnny 're colonoscopy, they told us there and then that he had bowel cancer.Looking positive for your husband on that front.

Good luck with the hip op.I was out of hospital two days after op.and never looked back
