I’m going for three sessions over the next couple of weeks. The promised transport arrangements did not transpire but I have different friends who are going to do the four hour return journey which is amazingly kind but I have this one big worry. I already have bladder and bowel control problems and I’m terrified that the treatment’s immediate effect may make this worse. Of course I will wear the largest pad available but I am so worried about the journey home. Any experiences would be appreciated. Thanks
Hi . Sorry to hear the transport arrangements didn't work out but good your friends are going to help out.
My effects weren't immediate but I did take precautions by wearing a large ST but didn't need it in the end. I did tend to wear pantyliners for a while after but didn't need them either. The days I had diarrhoea I was at home and just didn't stray far from the loo.
Hope it all goes well for you
Big hugs, Barb x
