Now getting on for 3 weeks post surgery. Up & down, physically and emotionally. Had about 3 days of urinary incontinence in the past week - every time I moved I peed! Contacted the hospital and got the advice that I should keep on  with Kegel exercises and it should stop -  they were right, thankfully!  I think I must have overdone things a bit, and am now being more careful!

Finally got all the surgical clips out, so I can have a shower - temperature in the high 30s here, so that's very welcome. Only  8 more days of blood thinning injections too, hoorah!

Just the waiting game for the results of the histology. Trying not to think about it too much - just one day at a time.

Hi . Good to hear from you. Now you know why we describe it as a roller coaster ride!

Some ladies here have experienced the incontinence but it does stop - as you say be careful about overdoing things!

Great you can now have a cool shower - I don't miss the heat when I lived in Spain 40 degrees from May to September! How's the bruising with the injections? Eventually it's impossible to find a clear spot!

The waiting is the worst and I assume your timeframes are different. Here in the UK it's normally 2/3 weeks but from what I read things here seem to be speeding up.

Come back and let us know when you receive your results if you want to share.

    Big hugs, Barb xx
