Hi all I haven't posted for quite a while. I was first suspected to have Endometrial cancer last August. Following confirmation I had a total hysterectomy end of October. The results showed I was grade 1 stage 1b due to the presence of LVSI. My oncologist suggested 2 sessions of Brachytherapy and 25 sessions of radiotherapy. Had 1st brachytherapy on 31 December then contracted Covid. All treatment was put on hold, which was of great concern, however finally managed to complete treatment 19 March. I had a follow up CT scan 4 weeks ago and saw my oncologist today and thankfully the scan was clear and the examination proved to be good too. I will see him again in 3 months.
Wow congratulations Chrissy72, this is fantastic news I hope you are continuing to recover from the treatment and covid so glad your scan was clear. .

Hi Chrissy72. Nice to hear from you again. I remember we joined at roughly the same time last year. I'm so delighted to read all your treatments went well ending in March and your recent scan was clear. Well done you!
I recall how scared we were to start with, as are all who end up posting here but your post reassures our new ladies, it's a frightening roller-coaster ride but you do get off the other end!
Sending hugs, Barb xx
