Hello everyone,
Cannot believe I am 14 weeks post op...time has gone so quickly.
I was doing really well, still off work as the fatigue is still huge right now.
However about a week ago, i started again with this lower left pain, pulling sensation. It sits just above my pubic bone but more towards the groin.
It feels a bit like a pull but I can feel that it feels just not right and is uncomfortable. A bit like what I thought was internal stitches healing many weeks ago. I am a bit concerned that now week 14 why this has come back .
I have been doing my "lady exercises ' as I call them and are petrified that I have some form of prolapse or something happening.
I have a follow-up for Mid May but something tells me maybe to not wait that long?
In other news, the menopause hot flushes have now changed from the time I get into bed to now waking me up in the middle of the night!
Such fun xxx
Hi Birdie,
Sorry to hear you are worried. I think I am more aware of bowel movements than I was and often get wind down there, sometimes trapped. I am much older than you, though! I think if I was you I'd contact your CNS and see if she can arrange a check up. I was back at the hospital after being let out for two days!! I was very worried about my bladder habits, and they checked me - on a Saturday, too. They were very considerate and kind, although I had to wait until the consultant had finished his rounds. xxxx
