Switched to listening to Classical radio stations Classic FM and Radio3 since 2016
Much as I Iiked Messrs Bruce and Walker, some of the music played became hard to listen to especially in the run up to christmas etc
CFM tended to play instrumental versions of 'Bring him home' from Les Mis quite a lot and ir was overwhelming for a while, as i could still put the words to it
There were a few others but i managed to get a better grip on them that i would have done listening to the 'Popular' stuff on Radio 2 or other commercial stations
However there seems to be one that I just can't over - it's not played very often which could be part of the problem, but
Suzy K on Radio 3 just played a slow version of it - the record..... Charlie Chaplin's SMILE,
I had to turn it off I was in Floods
