I have cancerous nodules in my stomach after having womb cancer that will definitely grow.  I have quite a lot to sort out now.  Hope my time left is the worst case scenario given to me by my Medical Oncologist.  Will have a CT scan to see what the situation is in 3 months time.  Opted to be referred to the palliative care team now so I’m on their books when I need their help and support.  Nightmare!!!

  • Hello @WishingWell.46 I’m so very sorry to hear about the Stomach cancer discovered after your recent hysterectomy. I also read from your profile that you’ve previously had Breast cancer and have now chosen not to go ahead with chemo as its side effects will be detrimental to your wellbeing.

Can I recommend you join the Stomach cancer group and also the dedicated support group  Living with incurable cancer - patients only group, this will be a good place to connect with others navigating the same type of cancer journey. You don’t mention if you have a partner and/or family and friends to support you during this time?

It’s always good to talk and the Macmillan Support Services provides lots of information, support, financial guidance or just a listening ear.

Most services are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week and it's free to call on 0808 808 00 00 have a look by Clicking here to see what is available and we also have our Ask an Expert section, but do allow two working days for replies from our expert team.
