Hi Everyone,
I had my first face to face check up today following surgery on 30th March. I saw the lovely consultant that performed the operation, she is super special. Everything has healed well, next check in 3 months.
I have been getting a lot of joint and breast pain since surgery, wondering if it due to the ovaries being removed. Has anyone else experienced this?
I am back to work, did a phased return then taken a days annual leave for 5 weeks, last one tomorrow. I do get tired easily but that is gradually improving week by week. I have been proactive in tackling my disturbed sleep pattern, increased exercise and am doing the Hope course online which is excellent, perfect timing for me.
Just booked a holiday to Greece for the end of September, fingers crossed. I am hoping I won’t get clobbered by the travel insurance now I have had cancer. Any recommendations on travel insurance companies gratefully accepted.
Sending good wishes to you all.
Honey
Well done Honey. There is a section on this website regarding Travel Insurance: go to Groups, then Cancer Experiences, then on the last page of that section you will find Travel Insurance. Good luck. LR.
Hi Honey, that's great news. So glad you are doing so well and as NannyAnny says good news keeps us all positive! You enjoy your holiday now. You deserve it. Love and hugs. God bless. Lamb.xx
