Hi
I had my hysterectomy in Feb20, recently I have had stabbing pains in what was my womb area and bloated and put on a lot of weight . I was diagnosed with Stage 1 G1 and I had bracket therapy as well in April . Am just a little worried as my medical team said all is well and will check me up on Monday .
But I am so scared it may have come back and the pain is from it , can anyone advise so I stop over thinking this ? Thank you x
Hi
I am so sorry to hear about your bloating. You’ve done the right thing to get it checked out. I hope your team will be able to put your mind at rest on Monday.
I have just written a long post to another member of this forum about anxiety and how to cope with it. Would it be terribly rude of me to post a link so you can read it rather than typing it all out again?
I wish you all the best for Monday
Hi LT,
I think once you have had a cancer diagnosis it is all too easy to imagine all sorts of things.
I was only stage 1, but had a lot of twinges after a keyhole operation which lasted around 6 months. Fortunately they were similar niggles as when I had shingles, so I guessed it was nerve endings knitting together. You are doing the right thing getting checked. xxxx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
