Had 3rd chemo cycle Monday after delay from Friday due to problems with hospital pharmacy. Had massive fatigue problems since in spite of doing very little. Just had a bath~hard work with picc line cover on~and had to sit on side of the bath as was about to collapse. Told fatigue is going to get worse ~is that really possible?
Nephew coming in an hour and at moment lying on bed wrapped up in towel. Can't even dry myself let alone get dressed. Feel so pathetic and annoyed with this. Is it really worth it.
Hi Nina,
I was thinking about you the other day, wondering how you were. How many more rounds have you got? Are you half way yet? Yes, it is worth it, if it gives you your life back. When my husband had gruelling radiotherapy I had a chart and ticked off the days until the end. It helped!!
Sending you a big hug xxxxx
Halfway through chemo. But then 5 weeks radiotherapy plus brachytherapy. Last chemo dose reduced as other side effects considered to be a big worry. Mood not as bad and after first few days bone pain easing.
Massive issues with eldest now and her appaling flat. If I was well I'd have had her out by now. Meant to be supported living flat for someone with poor immune system and acute hearing among many other issues. Flat is damp, no heating in wet room and builders now broken property. Support not turning up on time and not delivering support she needs.
All not helping my fatigue I know.
Hello Nina, you have been very much in my thoughts these last week's. The fatigue is so awful at times and you are having a very strong combo. Just rest as much as you can, we all react differently to these chemotherapy treatments, what side effects did you have ?
I am so sorry that your daughter still isn't getting the support she needs, an added worry for you.
I just wanted to say hi and let you know I have been thinking about you.
Sending a gentle hug,
LC

Its awful to hear about your daughters flat, supported living? Its no wonder your so annoyed and frustrated, as she is clearly being let down. To top it all off I am sure your feeling very helpless as the side effects of treatment are exhausting you.
Just wanted to send you a gentle hug, for you both and some healing thoughts.
