Thank you Fairycake. I'm really hoping it's just a blood clot that's come away but part of me is expecting bad news. I will let you know how I get on.

Well, it looks as if the blighter has made a return visit! Got to have scans to confirm it hasn't spread. I'm more worried about the scans than the findings at the moment! Hopefully it can be zapped again and I can get on with life. Bit of a bummer though.
