Hi everyone. I'm a year on from brachytherapy and so far everything ok. Just after Xmas I noticed an increase in discharge and a few spots of blood. Contacted my CNS who assured me it was normal. However, yesterday the amount of blood greatly increased so made an appointment with my GP. He thinks it's connected with vaginal atrophy and he found a small blood clot but he thought I should have it checked by a gynecologist. Through my CNS I have got an emergency appointment tomorrow. I'm hoping it's nothing nasty but has anyone else had a problem like this?
Hello I'm very sorry to hear you have this new worry. I haven't any experience of this, but you're doing the right thing getting checked out. I hope your appointment goes well and that the gynaecologist is able to give you the reassurance you need. I can in,y send you a gentle hug. P,ease let us know how you get on x
Hello , I am very sorry to hear about your new worry but I second fairycake and I hope that you get reassurance from your consultant tomorrow. Unfortunately I don't have any experience but just wanted to reach out and send my best wishes and good luck for tomorrow.

Well, it looks as if the blighter has made a return visit! Got to have scans to confirm it hasn't spread. I'm more worried about the scans than the findings at the moment! Hopefully it can be zapped again and I can get on with life. Bit of a bummer though.
Love to everyone out there who's going through treatment and waiting for results xx
Sorry its made a return visit hopefully the scans will prove its not spread, so fingers crossed for you on that front. Sorry now you have more waiting and worry.
Gentle hug your way
