Hi I had a ultrasound showing 19mm thickness of endometrial which resulted in an urgent gyno appointment. I've since had a biopsy and ablation. Biopsy results i was told would be back in 2 weeks but 3 weeks later still waiting. Told go cannot chase until after 4 weeks. Going a little crazy as things moved quickly following the 2 week urgent cancer referral but now seemed to have stalled following the biopsy. A little confused as i thought they wouldn't do an ablation if cancer was suspected but biopsy results are outstanding. Didn't see the consultant after the operation so not sure if I'm worrying about nothing. Is no news good news? Anyone else had an ablation and biopsy following an urgent cancer referral? Can it still be cancer?

Hello ,
Sorry to hear of your worries and waiting and everyone will agree the waiting and uncertainty is awful. Delays for results can be for lots of different reasons, but hopefully you will hear very soon. Its often confusing and frustrating and a scary time when we are waiting for results and what will happen next. Lots of ladies here who a fantastic bunch of very friendly and supportive ladies lots of virtual hugs to go around.
I was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 aged 37, but felt very lucky to being low stage although having to have a hysterectomy was a lot to take in at first.
Fingers crossed for answers very soon.
