Last time I changed the dressing on the final bit of my wound which has been oozing slightly there was the tiniest bit on the dressing. That was 2 days ago. I was told to change it every 4 days.
I was checking as usual and the rest of the wound is looking fine. But I could see there was blood on the dressing so decided best to change it and check.
It is now bleeding instead of just oozing. It's 5.5 weeks since my surgery. I've no pain but have been quite itchy. I'm wonder if I itched during my sleep and so opened the wound a bit.
I'm not sure if I should try and get an appointment tomorrow ~ virtually impossible at the moment ~or wait and see how it is tomorrow and make a decision rhen.
