Hi All,
Just getting this down so I can crack on with my day and not sit worrying incessantly! Here's where I am right now..
Post 1 year IUD treatment, previously told had endometrial hyperplasia without atypia and in May given the all clear (yay no more biopsies!)
Have been feeling fatigued (like properly continually exhausted, even if I don't exercise) since mid June, one proper period and then bleeding continuously for July with crazy cramps and acne.
Just back from the TV ultrasound and I'm hyperplasic (sp?) again with my lining and now have enlarged and cystic ovaries. Ultrasound lady noted that my right Ovary was particularly large and cystic before telling me she wasn't concerned about the left one. (does that mean she's concerned about the right one?)
Have my consultant appointment on Tuesday and now trying to get my head straight. Gutted to be back on the 'whatif' train but hey ho.
Thanks for listening, fingers crossed for a quick turnaround on the biopsy appointment and some kind of idea as to what next.
Big hugs to all x
No need to apologise, I know how nuts waiting can make you, I did find work a good distraction, not that I was very productive, but it helps pass the time.
xx
UPDATE
It's been a busy week or so...
Had a meeting with a consultant, said I hyperplasia is confirmed as back and have a 6cm cyst on my ovary. I was super tender during examination and he got all excited and admitted me to hospital. Spent the night in and discharged the next day - had a raft of blood tests done and all came back fine (no idea why in so much pain, or so tired). The Ward Consultant just kept looking at me going "you look great, you don't look ill" ffs.
Had an MRI on Tuesday and booked in for a GA Hysterscopy so they can D&C on the 26th. Then hopefully we'll know what's going on!
Am concentrating on work as I will go nuts if I think about anything else atm. Still massively fatigued, now bloated and with painful lower back and abdomen. Looking forward to get some 'positive' results or at least a plan after 26th!
Hugs for anyone going through this too - and even if you're not, everyone deserves a hug!

Hi Eismysunshine,
I just wanted to tell you that my eldest daughter had a lot of trouble with an ovarian cyst. Every doctor she saw said it was cystitis. It was only when she burst into tears doubled up with pain that they sent her to the hospital, where they discovered an ovarian cyst pressing on her bladder!!! They couldn't save the ovary, but years later she had a child with the one ovary!!!
Hopefully you'll get some answers soon. xxxx
Good luck for the 26th, keeping busy sounds like the perfect distraction whilst you wait, it's good to see them take things seriously and have all of your tests scheduled so quickly.
lots of love

Hi All,
Quick update to keep track and thanks for the replies earlier, I really appreciate them, even if i'm poor at replying!
So had the Hysterscopy done yesterday under GA - had a lovely Dr who spoke to me pre-surgery who said that they were planning just to take a few 'slices' - at which point I had a minor hissy fit and mentioned I'd had 5 previous hysterscopy's without GA and if that's all they wanted to do they could have done it weeks ago. Cue a little crying session from me (just so disappointed and stressed) and a trip outside to check with the consultant and she advised they were going to do a full D&C and get a 'proper' test done. Also good news, my 6cm cyst has gone down to 3cm's - so yay!
Feel a bit embarrassed about the crying but you know when you just feel like you're being messed around and no-one seems to be saying the same things? Anyway, when I came round the Dr said she'd done the full D&C and a good thing she did too as my endometrium was really thick. It's also cleared the polyps that they found (yay no more popcorn).
My follow up is the 17th October, so not too long away. Feeling a bit sick and groggy right now but off to work in a minute (I've got a refurbishment project at work that I'm running and I need to make sure the office is actually packing up like they need too)!
Feeling more positive now and hopeful, so keeping my fingers crossed.
Hugs and strength to all you ladies on here, you really are wonderful.

Hi All,
just checking in as have had an odd letter from the hospital. After the last hysterscopy have been put back on the Mirena and told not to worry about the multiocculated cyst on my ovary as the walls were thin.
I’ve now had a letter saying the due to unforeseen circumstances they are bringing my follow up appointment in April forward to the 12th December.
Thats a mighty jump forward. Does anyone have a clue what it might be about? I mean you probably don’t but at least if I post it here I can try to contain the worry!
I don't know of course, but unforeseen circumstances sounds more like an issue at their end. Maybe changes in staff either happened or due to happen perhaps????
Thanks TeddysMum, that would be a great reason; although I’ve seen a fair few different consultants etc over the last year !
Am going to call today and chat to the lovely chap who dies the appointments, he’s usually really helpful, maybe I can get a quick telephone chat with a dr or nurse to let me know what is going on.
Appreciate the support, my body really doesn’t like the Mirena and I‘be been in quite a lot of pain recently - probably why I’m freaking out!

Could be a matter of budgets - bringing it into this year rather than next?
