Hello everyone, I'm just catching up as I haven't been on for a little while. I had my hysterectomy on Monday so I am now 3 days post op. I have to admit that when I was first diagnosed and the word hysterectomy was mentioned I was terrified, I need not have been, everyone I have met during my treatment so far, from the wonderful ladies in this group to the staff at the hospital that did my surgery have been so very kind and supportive. I had laparoscopic surgery so just 4 very small incisions in my tummy, although of course it's major surgery it was nowhere near as bad as I had imagined and now I am back at home being taken care of. I know I still have a long way to go and I'm not out of the woods yet but so far so good.
Good to hear your home Bossette, now is the time to rest and recover from surgery. Don't be tempted to do any lifting or bending or stretching for a while and be kind to yourself, it sounds like everything has gone great which is fantastic long may you continue to heal well.
